I
believe that citizens should be prepared to give up personal freedoms and
privacy during a national crisis. The reason why I believe in this is because you
want your government doing everything possible to try to ensure your safety. I wouldn’t
mind the government going through my personal phone calls, text messages, or
emails I have nothing to hide. The main reason why the government would be
going through your phone calls, text messages, or emails would be for looking
for spies in our country that are trying to help out the outside force. If the government
were to start taking away freedoms from the people the only reason why I see
them doing that would be to prevent a revolt amongst the people and the government.
The last thing we need during a national crisis is a two front war against our
own people and the outside force.
I totally agree with you. If you a have nothing to hide you should have no problem letting the government go through your phone calls or anything else. Ya you might not want them to because who does but durning a national crisis it should be allowed. You should give up some of you freedoms to protect your safety but I do think that once the national crisis is over we should get them back.
ReplyDeleteForsure everybody should give away their privacy during a national crisis if there was a choice, because it would be a big help.The government has the power to do whatever they want so there really isn't a choice for us anyway.
